I used ReinForce's release for the video, with some light debanding. "Act 1" was aired as a single episode, but cut into six parts for the BD release. I have recut those parts with the creditless OP and ED back into their original airing order for this release. There should really be a single star above the chevron to be completely correct. #### 6:16 The insignia seen here is that of a private, with extra lines on the sides. Lines like these are only used by the maritime forces, so he should not have them. Considering that he appears to be the leader of the group of soldiers, he should actually have the rank of sergeant. ### The Captain's Rank The captain of the Special Attackers Team is referred to by a few different words. I've listed them here below. I believe her rank is actually that of a first lieutenant for a few reasons: 1. That's what the Indonesian subtitles used. 2. The Wikipedia page for the JSDF's ranks names "ni-i" as the pronunciation for a first lieutenant, which is the closest I've seen for a translation of "Nigo-ichi" and "Nigo-ni". She refers to herself as the team captain, so I think when they call her "kanchō" they're just calling her their captain, not that she has the rank of captain. They just say they're connecting to the Clans. As this anime was produced along with a mobile app (where you can join a Clan), connecting to the Reality Server is just a fancy way of saying they're connecting to the real-life app. This is the term used by the Indonesian subs, and I think it sounds good so I kept it.
