Do the following test: download one chosen episode from each (Maakuo and enigmo). Open them in Audacity. Align the two version of the episode (zoom in to do that flawlessly). Select one stream and to go effects -> invert [the soundwave]. If you play both streams at the same time and it goes completely mute, then the quality is the same and indeed enigmo get the FLACs directly from the WAVs, which is lossless compression.

As you have seen the size of a considered amoun of episodes.. they. are low in size poorly managed and handled .Do not bother to get this realease even in consideration. I know cause i have too many versions.

I used episode 1 to perform the test that Romao mentioned above all of this bullshit, and can confirm that Enigmo's FLACs from this torrent (and his MEGA post) are the same source and quality as the WAVs from AnimeMaakuo's post. The only difference is AnimeMaakuo's has the OP/ED still attached, while Enigmo's is just the episode and NEP. Either way both of them would have to be manually synced to any other video source, so it doesn't really matter. If anyone is wondering about the file sizes for 115-183, it appears that these episodes are in mono while the rest are in "stereo" (same for both sources). I believe the quality is still the same as the episodes were only ever in mono, so the "stereo" on the rest of the episodes is just the mono channel duplicated. Someone else feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. And please nobody accuse me of sucking anyone's dick. I'm just trying to spread proper information. I can't believe how toxic this topic is.

But ..I would suggest anybody ..get this WAVs and convert them to your pleasure .

@SimonCowell I'm not an audio expert, but I do know enough about audio to know that what Romao says about FLAC and WAV is true. FLAC is a lossless codec, you lose nothing by converting to it. Maybe it went from WAV to FLAC to WAV to MP3 to FLAC before it got to Enigmo, but it certainly doesn't sound like it. I have no stake in any of this. I'm not an advanced encoder and I don't have all the sources that everyone else has, but I've always known the WinXBloom is compressed, but it's all I had access to, so it's what I released. Now that I have access to TWO other versions of the same source, I just want to pick one so I can get back to completing my sets. If you're in a hurry for me to complete the Namek episodes, and you want me to use AnimeMaakuo's WAVs, then you should help him seed the torrent. But Enigmo's are on MEGA, seem exactly the same, and aren't bloated, so I'm going to use those. I don't know why it matters to you what BA I use if you're making your own CCd encodes with like 20 audio tracks all converted to 448kbps anyway. Regarding the stereo, if you look at AnimeMaakuo's upload, his episodes between 115 and 183 are also reduced in size. I would do a direct comparison, but I can't yet because it's taking a year to download anything from him besides episodes 1 and 2. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest about this. If you want me to keep doing episodes, leave me out of your drama.

Since you do not know about each verison of the release an how it was handled I wont take any unnecesary discussion topic on this matter . Well I wont use your BA that is for sure . I have my own already done, prepared and synced to DBOX R2J coming from WAV?FLACs so that is no issue for me either . What is an issue is spreading information with half of a truth , but yet again . Also, since none of it is actually true lossless, ‘sounding almost the same’ will do, because for all we know they might even come from different rips (and since lossless analog to digital conversion is an oxymoron, if that’s the case then they will necessarily be slightly different). I won’t bother downloading Maakuo’s torrent until there’s a decent seeding speed, so I’ll have to go by what iKaos is saying, and as it turns out that’s exactly right.

Tbh, compressed or not, it's true, there is such a negligible difference between not only the FLACs and WAVs, but also the Ishikawa VS Tokai audio (judging on only the first episode mind you). While it might be technically different, the average listener is not going to notice anything different imo.
