This is my 10 bit HEVC / x265 reencode of [CTR's ](https://nyaa.iss.one/user/Catar "CTR's uploads") 9.7 gb release of Wolf Children, with all audio encoded to AC3. Japanese audio and English subtitle track are default. Was linked to your Shinsekai Yori post from a friend while talking about encoding, and I have to say I definitely approve of the way you go about your reencodes. You explicitly state there's lower quality, and that people have to judge the filesize reduction versus quality loss pros/cons for themselves, you use the highest quality source you can find from my brief glance at your torrents, you link to your source and link pictures to comparison shots, and for this release specifically at least, you've kept all the subtitle files from your source, too. I haven't checked out your releases personally (yet, at least), but I'm grateful for all the above points and just the general mentality you seem to have with this. I really wish more reencode uploaders did similar to you. If so, perhaps the thoughts of many leechers would change for the better when it comes to quality, so please do continue to show reencoders a good example of what they should aspire to be! All that being said, I'd encourage you to listen to Scyrous over on your [Shinsekai Yori release](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1112584); switching to PNG will allow people to more accurately gauge the differences between your release and the original for no extra workload, and from what little I know he's a good source of advice when it comes to encoding. Despite how rough he may sound sometimes, I'm sure he'd be more than willing to help you with anything you want to learn to make your quality/filesize ratio even better. The fact that he's even giving advice instead of just ignoring your releases clearly shows he approves, too, and I'd take that as a compliment, personally!

I am currently working on Planetes, as it is one of my favourite shows.
