The sad part is that Netflix's new dub was comissioned for this for the sole purpose of censorship. Every instance of the word "love" was changed to "like" as far as Kaworu is concerned.

The dub is actually pretty horrible, I couldn't stand more than 1 episode before I re-watched the original and more, the voices don't fit the characters at all, such a shame...
