not very accurate historically … actual “Vinland” was NORTH AMERICA … NOT ENGLAND … but … I have read some of the manga, so I’ll at least take a look at the anime

Yeah, when they say Vinland they're talking about North America, at that time Britain was already a Kingdom so of course it's not what they're referring to as Vinland, what brought that idea?
@ kendots ......... uuuuhhhhhhh maybe the TITLE of the story ...... VINLAND SAGA
@ VyseLegendaire ... ok, if what you say is true ... in what vol do they end up going to north America (or omnibus vol, which is the ones I have been collecting)
@Komugi I haven't read the manga but so far I find the anime enjoyable. It's got historical characters and some pieces of what we known of the vikings. Im not even sure what conclusion in your head lead to "not very accurate historically" I mean they clearly mean that Vinland is North America. Just because there hasn't been much of "Vinland" doesn't mean it's inaccurate...
If you even watch the first few minutes of episode 1, its obvious that Vinland refers to North America. The anime/manga is about the journey to eventually get there. Why would there be fully garbed native indians hanging out in England man?
