This is an edit of https://nyaa.iss.one/view/915118 Includes OP/ED/insert song lyrics, missing line fixes, general QC, and the option for NCED/NCOP (switch to secondary chapter editions). I plan on doing the rest of the series, as well.

@XDarkworldX Strike is a spinoff taking place soon after the end of ViVid and has mostly the same characters, but the two main characters are new and the story is about them. ViVid is set a few years after the end of StrikerS. There are a lot of new characters, but many characters from StrikerS appear. There's really only one plot point from StrikerS that's relevant in ViVid. If you watched/read ViVid without knowing StrikerS, you'd be hit with a ton of characters that you don't know. StrikerS takes place a good number of years after A's where the characters have grown up. The setting of StrikerS and many of its characters are new to StrikerS, but the 3 most important characters are the same as A's, so you should really watch A's first. A's takes place soon after the original series and is the same setting and mostly the same characters, with some new ones. You could split it up into 3 parts: the original series/A's/(Detonation/Reflection), StrikerS, and ViVid/Strike. The characters from previous series mostly come back and play some kind of role in the new series, so you'd lose out on that familiarity when skipping series. The issue compounds because there are 4 series before Strike. If you watch Strike without ViVid, you wouldn't know about Vivio, Einhart, Corona, Rio, and Nove's story, as well as the boatload of other characters that appear and play small roles in Strike. If you watch(read) ViVid without StrikerS, you wouldn't know about how Vivio's situation came to be, and how important it is to her, as well as another boatload of other characters that play various-sized roles in ViVid. If you watch StrikerS without A's, you'd miss out on the backstories of most of the main characters. A's without the original series and you'd miss out on Nanoha/Fate's development, which is arguably the best thing in franchise.

The plots of each are stand-alone, though, so if you don't care about characters at all, then you could get away with just a synopsis of the previous series and watch whichever ones you want. I found the Nanoha franchise to be mostly character-driven, so I'd strongly recommend watching/reading the entire series in order and not skipping, but to each their own. If you're committed, I'd recommend watching the original series, then A's, then StrikerS, then reading ViVid (the anime doesn't cover that much, and almost none of the important parts), and then watching Strike. The express route is swapping out the original series and A's for the 1st and 2nd movies, but the series are just more fleshed out and better. Afterwards you can go back and watch Reflection/Detonation whenever, and read the the manga series whenever. In short, if you watch Strike without anything else, you wouldn't know who 95% of the characters are (except for the two main characters of it), and the setting (which isn't exactly complex, magic/technology-based society where little girls do magic martial arts). Also, the two main faces of the franchise, Nanoha and Fate, make 0 appearances. They do show up in a photo in one scene, but they're blocked by light.
@arvon2 (uploader) "Nanoha and Fate, make 0 appearances. They do show up in a photo in one scene, but they’re blocked by light." Seeing those two characters everything is spawned from have their images blocked from clear view the "eroge cover up light" Gives the impression the series itself wasn't an original staff production. And it wasn't except for the creator Tsuzuki Masaki. The first three had all same "Main Staff" A-1 did Vivid but returned to Seven Arcs for V. Strike. The scene you spoke of creates question as to why Seven Arcs would light out them out. This series gives something to fans we want to see all the time but rarely ever get to. A show that evolves so much we get older versions of characters in a sequel. I've lost count of Anime I wanted the same to happen. We all have. The only thing i'd like to see more of is fans giving thanks to the people that spent their free time creating fan-subs for the shows and movies. Without fan-subbers not only would there be less of the story. It could end up the way Reflection and especially Detonation. Quote "The official BD subs had 231 mistranslated lines. They even got the movie’s ending completely wrong (see: nyaa.iss.one/view/1155997) My guess is funi was told F.O. on any Nanoha past season 2 and displayed their grief when they provided translation for the BD releases. It should be obvious to everyone all Anime translations other than what is found on TV and in movie theaters in Japan. has been provided by funi. Somehow they made a deal to provide all translations. Anyone thinking otherwise should consider the amount of pride Japanese put in their work. They would never allow the garbage we have seen appear on any Anime.
Thank you ♥❤💚❤️💘💕
