Originally uploaded by [Hirai](https://nyaa.iss.one/user/Hirai), I just grabbed all that he shared and bundled into one folder. The Mexican-Spanish dub of the Dragon Ball franchise is commonly the one that's known by everyone, but in Chile they recorded the OPs/EDs and apparently even one volume of [Dragon Ball](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/915306). If anyone happens to have that, please share it. I'd love to check it out. Some more info about the Chilean-Spanish dubs of Dragon Ball by Hirai: > Normally, Chile, as nearly all South american countries, also airs the mexican dub(the biggest industry for american spanish releases) on television, but sometimes is either Chile making their own dub for South America or releasing alternative commercial versions of songs either dubbed or not already on television. For example, Dragon Ball GT Chilean opening single was released on December 1998 whereas the series were not even dub in North and South America yet. The songs are usually sung in Spanish, but there are some that were sung in Japanese, the instrumentals also varies from made in Chile to be the official Japanese instrumental track.

This is the best version of Cha-La Head-Cha-La (I mean, Shalá el Shalá), with its "haré una gentilidad", or "un golpe de prótesi". xD ![prótesi](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/687810796863881320/708871122103566336/EUO3dLKX0AAYQZS.jpg) Epic.
Impact: didn't all of DB get released on DVD in Chile?

@ Sangofe I have no idea, because the Mexican-Spanish dub dominates all of Latin Spanish speaking countries.
@Impakt But those DVDs contain the Mexican dubbing... (the Intertrack one). These albums were released by Warner Music Chile in a desperate attempt to make easy money taking advantage of the Dragon Ball's boom, but without having to pay the rights to get the "official Spanish songs."
I have the original Edisur DVDs. The video is from FUNimation with censorship, but the Latin audio is very good.

Aw, it's just the Mexican-Spanish dub, but still.. if you could share it it'd be great. There isn't a whole lot of good DVD releases of Dragon Ball with the Latin Spanish dub.
@Foxer-san Those song only were a promotional when Dragon Ball recelty arrived to Chile, also in that years, were launched stickers albums (of course with right, not illegal). Those CD's sometime were included promoted the sticker album. Salo was an entertainment company, famous for creating album stickers, so I think those songs are just covers / remix of the anime song, and not for an illegal theme as you say But never those song was used in anime, in Chile was used the original mexican dub
Actually, Chile payed the licenses and got them, they didn't released the mexican music because 1. Mexicans didn't save their own masters and good quality, 2. They didn't made full versions of the openings and the series were airing, 3. Music license work for a country and/or region, so mexican/cloverway stuff was an NA license. Also, these songs were also used in an official release, for example the spanish lyrics edition of Chilean Cha-la head cha-la was used in the last repack of ETV(company) DBZ Movies VHS which contained movies with spain dub but chilean opening, and for GT opening and ending, this versions were the first released in the american continent. (Sorry for bad english) @Impakt Thank you for the reuploads!
