Title: Tenki no Ko (Weathering with You) Video Format : .mkv HEVC 10bit SoftSubbed Resolution : 1920 X 1080 Encoded by: EoE **Audio(Opus)**: Japanese(Stereo) - Japanese(Surround) **Subtitles**: English[with Honorifics] - English(LonelyHikikomori) - French(Fervex) - Spanish(RebootSubs) - Arabic(AssassinS Sub) **Note**: Hi all, EoE here. Given that this movie has a significant amount of detail, rain and grainy flashback scenes, it has been a very difficult encode. I have gone through and scenefiltered each scene individually, and tried my hardest to make sure that as little detail was lost as possible. This has resulted in a quality I'm very proud of in the rainy/action based scenes, however the aggressive rate control methods have caused a little banding in some darker, gradient based scenes. This *is* to be expected with any mini encode, though of course is not ideal, however I chose to use what I did as it gave the best possible quality in most of the movie, especially the most important parts. Filterchain is somewhat simple, in general, a masked temporal BM3D, followed by an aa (aliasing is probably the main issue with this movie), followed by a light dehalo (I think some scenes were minorly sharpened, though it was debated, so I ended up just doing a small dehalo where needed), followed by a masked deband and some grain. Ultra rainy scenes had a custom filterchain of their own, as well as a couple of odd scenes like the TV broadcast (which looks sick, really well done) and the flashbacks. In terms of subs, I was going to include the PGS based subs as well as the fansubs by Lonely Hikikomori, however bitmap based subtitles are huge, and it wasnt really justified, so I've only included text based subtitles. I also kept a slightly higher bitrate for audio than our usual standard because the music is well worth it (144Kbps Stereo, 256Kbps 5.1), but if you'd like the lossless, feel free to ask me and I'll put it on gdrive or something (same goes for the PGS subs) For those that do care, I'm going to encode a higher quality non-mini version some time in the next week; however for many, putting this through a quick deband filter in mpv/madVR will be more than satisfactory. **Source**: JP BDMV (42 GiB) [Request an anime or get DDL links @ Discord](https://discord.gg/vbJ7RTn) **[If you like this release please seed]** ![gg](https://i.ibb.co/LdtDgSx/vlcsnap-2020-06-07-21h43m53s403.png) ![wp](https://i.ibb.co/Nr3r0j0/vlcsnap-2020-06-07-21h44m16s635.png) ![ez](https://i.ibb.co/2NYZ7LT/vlcsnap-2020-06-07-21h44m35s575.png)

FIRST THANK YOU!!!!
Thank You Judas So Much... Amazing As Always...
cool file sizes with passing quality, i'm in
EoE, GeekWorld here, will wait for non mini vers. ..Thanx!!
EoE already spoiling an alternative release. smh.
https://slow.pics/c/qgef7guo I hope the Shinkai not so much affected by compression than Lelouch?
I really wonder why EoE bothers wasting his time in Judas when he actually knows how to encode. But instead he spends hours every week encoding trash releases...
Encoding isn't an important part of the fansubbing process anyway.
great quality for the file size! can you estimate the file size for the next encode? it it's just 2-3 gb more I might wait for that...

@Hergonoway gotta self promote :) @Jensen glad to see you're using possibly the oldest vapoursyth script I wrote as an example. iirc that was knlm with default strength :omegalul: @Tjorna Because it's fun, and some people appreciate it. So what if they aren't omegahuge, I'd argue this is more difficult to do well anyway. @herkz this tbh @Otaku_J-san no idea whatsoever, it could be 4-5, or possible 8-10, I cant really predict right now. Contact me on discord in a couple days and I'll let you know if that's changed
I think I wait for the other version as well, will it have flac embedded? I don't care of its 10 or 20GB, I got disks to fill. :D
@EoE Lol, hasn’t anything changed since then? https://slow.pics/c/WECQau4X In any case, do you really want to spend CPU time on this?
WOW, Thank you so much!
@Judas Any chance of making it in 4k, like you did in Your Name? I truly thank you for your releases.
looking forward to non-mini :) thanks and good work
even this anime not as good as Your Name but...well..it not bad neither. win win i guess.
For the ones who care, the English subtitles in this release use honorifics and the Japanese name order is preserved. I wish all releases had these two things mentioned somewhere in the torrent description.
OMGGG THANK YOU JUDAS AND TEAM. I LOVE YOU ALL!! LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR FUTURES RELEASES <3
For those who dislike honorifics, these are Lonely Hikikomoris subs w/o honorifics. https://files.catbox.moe/47kddq.rar

This release includes both english subtitles, one track with honorifics and one without
Thanks Bro, few days ago I wrote a comment for you to encode Tenki no ko, and you have already done it... Thank you very much bro... I am really excited to get the torrent of "Kimetsu no Yaiba" from you.... :)
I'll wait for the 4K HDR version.

@Jensen Yup, that's already a lot better, and I'm working with 2.2 gig videos here, what'd you expect me to do, magic lines into existance? @Yi69Ya Possibly, I don't generally see a reason to use lossless audio though. @Ganomed I'm not planning to do a 4K HDR version, since it's just a crappy upscale.
> This release includes both english subtitles, one track with honorifics and one without Oops. I just read comments and thought it isn't there lol.
Judas is the only one i wait for. Like imagine 7-8 months ago i was like who is this judas now its always where is judas
but sadly no one asks, How is Judas :(
Thanks for the movie!!
Hmm.... @EoE I'm not a encoder but I can see the bindings easily.....lol The size is 2.5GB but I see the marshall encode his only 1GB and there is no actual seenable differance 1GB - https://animekayo.com/anime-movie/tenki-no-ko-1080p-bd-eng-sub-hevc/ (try this)
Thanks for the amazing release! I guess I'll have to wait 3 days for the DDL, anyway thank you guys for always being there!
@Judas I'm gonna wait your release of Hunter X Hunter 1999 release
Thank you Thank you ♥
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!
Best release by far! Just wish it was x264 so my shit pc could properly play it. :(
@shiro_kai use vlc... I have older specification pc I can easily play the 4K x265 hevc encoded video easily without any lag....

@EoE Did you ever make the non-mini version? I can't seem to find it.
Are you uploading 4k 2160p bd... Please let me know... Thanks as always
@PromareWeekOne he hasn't yet. I guess he's busy with IRL stuff. @ArkoJamesBond EoE already said he isn't going to do the 4k Blu-ray. Quoting him > I’m not planning to do a 4K HDR version, since it’s just a crappy upscale. @AnimeXHEVC what does "bindings" mean?
Thank you very much! how do I seeds that file for thanking the Submitter Judas?
Is this 10bit version by any chance?
Thank you very much! Do not download/seed if you are in Germany. I got a letter from Waldorf Frommer.
Yes fair word of warning if you're in Germany especially. Waldorf Frommer are closely monitoring this torrent activity to make you pay a ton of money for filesharing (which I luckily avoided, but it was a legal mess). Don't download if you're in Germany or generally if possible definitely avoid unless you have a good vpn that doesn't store any logfiles like nordvpn. Not worth it otherwise.
