Ⓜ️ [Banana Fish on MAL](https://myanimelist.net/anime/36649/Banana_Fish) --- **Synopsis** Aslan Jade Callenreese, known as Ash Lynx, was a runaway picked off the streets of New York City and raised by the infamous godfather of the mafia, Dino Golzine. Now 17 years old and the boss of his own gang, Ash gets his hands on a mysterious drug called "Banana Fish"—the same two words his older brother, Griffin, has muttered since his return from the Iraq War. However, his investigation is hindered when Dino sends his men to retrieve the drug from Ash at an underground bar he uses as a hideout. At the bar, Skip, Ash's friend, introduces him to Shunichi Ibe and his assistant, Eiji Okumura, who are Japanese photographers reporting on American street gangs. However, their conversation is interrupted when Shorter Wong, one of Ash's allies, calls to warn him about Dino. Soon, Dino's men storm the bar, and in the ensuing chaos kidnap Skip and Eiji. Now, Ash must find a way to rescue them and continue his investigation into Banana Fish, but will his history with the mafia prevent him from succeeding? ![](https://i.imgur.com/AH6flP5.png) --- **Comparison** (avc: source, hevc: encode) *Open links, toggle with mouseclick and check title.* [![](https://i.imgur.com/p1uO1PJ.png)](https://slow.pics/c/lGRlDpW2) [![](https://i.imgur.com/GMYX0VQ.png)](https://slow.pics/c/gfJkY66K) [![](https://i.imgur.com/9Pwa30e.png)](https://slow.pics/c/3PMpxlSd) --- **Source** ?️ Video and Audio: [Moozzi2] https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1161052 ?️ Subs: [Commie] https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1170881 ? *Subtitles Info: [Commie], Timing/TS adjustments [neoHEVC] - Format `ASS`* --- **Media Info** ``` General Unique ID : 86980121895334771889875585960001843964 (0x416FC31B1D0807F80A839DEFD05EB2FC) Complete name : Banana Fish - E01.mkv Format : Matroska Format version : Version 4 File size : 301 MiB Duration : 22 min 52 s Overall bit rate : 1 840 kb/s Movie name : Banana Fish - E01.mkv Writing application : Lavf58.42.101 Writing library : Lavf58.42.101 ErrorDetectionType : Per level 1 Video ID : 1 Format : HEVC Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding Format profile : Main 10@L4@High Codec ID : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC Duration : 22 min 52 s Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 23.976 (24000/1001) FPS Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 10 bits Writing library : x265 3.2.1+1-b5c86a64bbbe:[Windows][GCC 9.2.0][64 bit] 10bit Encoding settings : cpuid=1111039 / frame-threads=2 / numa-pools=4 / wpp / no-pmode / no-pme / no-psnr / no-ssim / log-level=2 / input-csp=1 / input-res=1920x1080 / interlace=0 / total-frames=0 / level-idc=40 / high-tier=1 / uhd-bd=0 / ref=5 / no-allow-non-conformance / no-repeat-headers / annexb / no-aud / no-hrd / info / hash=0 / no-temporal-layers / open-gop / min-keyint=24 / keyint=240 / gop-lookahead=0 / bframes=6 / b-adapt=2 / b-pyramid / bframe-bias=0 / rc-lookahead=20 / lookahead-slices=6 / scenecut=40 / radl=0 / no-splice / no-intra-refresh / ctu=64 / min-cu-size=8 / no-rect / no-amp / max-tu-size=32 / tu-inter-depth=1 / tu-intra-depth=1 / limit-tu=0 / rdoq-level=0 / dynamic-rd=0.00 / no-ssim-rd / signhide / no-tskip / nr-intra=0 / nr-inter=0 / no-constrained-intra / strong-intra-smoothing / max-merge=3 / limit-refs=1 / no-limit-modes / me=1 / subme=2 / merange=57 / temporal-mvp / no-hme / weightp / no-weightb / no-analyze-src-pics / deblock=0:0 / sao / no-sao-non-deblock / rd=3 / selective-sao=4 / early-skip / rskip / no-fast-intra / no-tskip-fast / no-cu-lossless / b-intra / no-splitrd-skip / rdpenalty=0 / psy-rd=0.00 / psy-rdoq=0.00 / no-rd-refine / no-lossless / cbqpoffs=0 / crqpoffs=0 / rc=crf / crf=19.0 / qcomp=0.60 / qpstep=4 / stats-write=0 / stats-read=0 / vbv-maxrate=30000 / vbv-bufsize=30000 / vbv-init=0.9 / crf-max=0.0 / crf-min=0.0 / ipratio=1.40 / pbratio=1.30 / aq-mode=3 / aq-strength=0.80 / cutree / zone-count=0 / no-strict-cbr / qg-size=32 / no-rc-grain / qpmax=69 / qpmin=0 / no-const-vbv / sar=1 / overscan=0 / videoformat=5 / range=0 / colorprim=1 / transfer=1 / colormatrix=1 / chromaloc=0 / display-window=0 / cll=0,0 / min-luma=0 / max-luma=1023 / log2-max-poc-lsb=8 / vui-timing-info / vui-hrd-info / slices=1 / no-opt-qp-pps / no-opt-ref-list-length-pps / no-multi-pass-opt-rps / scenecut-bias=0.05 / no-opt-cu-delta-qp / no-aq-motion / no-hdr / no-hdr-opt / no-dhdr10-opt / no-idr-recovery-sei / analysis-reuse-level=5 / scale-factor=0 / refine-intra=0 / refine-inter=0 / refine-mv=1 / refine-ctu-distortion=0 / limit-sao / ctu-info=0 / no-lowpass-dct / refine-analysis-type=0 / copy-pic=1 / max-ausize-factor=1.0 / no-dynamic-refine / no-single-sei / no-hevc-aq / no-svt / no-field / qp-adaptation-range=1.00 Default : Yes Forced : No Color range : Limited Color primaries : BT.709 Transfer characteristics : BT.709 Matrix coefficients : BT.709 Audio ID : 2 Format : AAC LC Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Low Complexity Codec ID : A_AAC-2 Duration : 22 min 52 s Channel(s) : 2 channels Channel layout : L R Sampling rate : 48.0 kHz Frame rate : 46.875 FPS (1024 SPF) Compression mode : Lossy Delay relative to video : -21 ms Title : Stereo (AAC) Language : Japanese Default : Yes Forced : No Text ID : 3 Format : ASS Codec ID : S_TEXT/ASS Codec ID/Info : Advanced Sub Station Alpha Duration : 22 min 45 s Compression mode : Lossless Title : Dialog (ASS) Language : English Default : Yes Forced : No Menu 00:00:00.033 : :Intro 00:01:44.580 : :Episode 00:22:49.930 : :Preview ```

THX! Any chance for both seasons of Honey and Clover in 720p?

**@PS4Trophies** **@geha714** Very welcome <3 **@geha714** stop by my discord and check the requirements for requests if you are interested in requesting more shows (noticed the UN-GO project? :)) I got S1 and S2 for Honey & Clover in [1080p Dual Audio] already for my collection and therefore won't be doing these again :/
why did you need to adjust the timing/typesetting?

neoborn (uploader)

User
**@herkz** I had to adjust the subtitles track in some episodes a certain amount of time forward/backward to line up with the start of dialog of my source. Also, something didn't line up perfectly with those all-yellow and all-black title cards and the black and yellow overlay that covered the Japanese text on my end in some of the episodes.
i guess moozzi must not have combined the previews with the episodes the same way i did since the previews are separate files on the BD

User
**@herkz** What was the text you guys covered on those title cards? Just the title name in Japanese?
yeah since there's no point and it looks better imo. i also fixed one of the english titles they messed up.

**@herkz** I say this with my deepest condolences... But I removed the covers because I absolutely loved the look of the color contrast between black and yellow on the japanese letters :P Sadly, yellow is a color you just don't see all too often :(
Thank you very much for your effort
