Windows 7 and below aren't supported anymore and no one should be using unsupported OSs, you're just putting yourself at risk. You should be using Windows 10 by now.

Using it offline doesn't harm anyone.

@Shaun most professional gamers use windows 7,the only reason some pro gamers use windows 10 is because the game doesn't work or has something to avoid working on win7. besides you claim you are putting yourself at risk,i wonder what risk just using a good antivirus like kaspersky you will save yourself lot of problems,besides saying using windows 10 who wants that , you should say "use linux works better is better and more secure" Windows 10 pros .- is updated every 3 hours because a new security risk is found. cons .- is slow .- needs highers requierements .- no retro compatibility .- no user friendly .- remote controlled by microsoft .- spy software of microsoft .- NSA/CIA logging your data .- used to inject cryptomining data .- you aren't allowed to use pirate software or open source software (install libre office or tux kart and win10 will delete it) .- updates itself every 3 hours .- requirements go crap since will damage the hardware on purpose (30% of CPU/GPU usage on freshly formatted PC on idle means is shit compare it against the 1% CPU/GPU usage of win7 or against the 3% usage of win8) is there any good reason to use it never have a virus on my several PCs all conected to internet and they have windows XP,windows vvista,windows 7 and they work as they should never updated anything and just use the good old kaspersky ( =w=)/O (windows 7 no lag not even on online games,windows 10 will lag in anything even in games and moreso on online games) pros of win7 dinput,nolag and so much more pros of winXp raw input works even on a toaster

@ Meyen The updates are really annoying so thankfully they can be delayed, at the very least. Some updates feel like installing a fresh OS.

@Impakt still not enough good points to use win10 in fact linux has more pros then win10 .- OS from current year with latest security updates and you choose if you want to install updates (since linux is hard to crack even knowing the backdoors) .- looks equal or superior to windows 10 .- can use DOS to windows 10 games .- raw input .- tons of free software .- less hardware requirements (manjaro used around 64 Mb of ram for the OS and i played FFXV there worked really great better then how it worked on win10) .- no virus or anything that can affect the OS .- no spyware from microsoft .- no NSA/CIA logging of your actions on your PC .- no internet requirements to use basic software to watch videos,music,notepad,etc .- you decide what to install and no one will mess on your installation unlike microsoft that deletes software you use but is Open Source. .- Emulation works better there .- use 100% of your PC power unlike windows if people is so worried about security they should change to linux

You really don't know what you're talking about, I've been using Windows 10 since it came out, it is far superior to any previous OS and is faster.

@Shaun either you are paid by microsoft or something similar or LEA. check wikileaks before making some claims everyone is aware microsoft and several companies are under NSA/CIA payroll. i work as a computer technician and i won't reccomend windows 10 to anyone not even my enemies. this is the 5th time that im writing my comment and deleting it, and ill just keep it short windows 10 vanilla may be shitty, but if you call urself a linux user, then you should be capable enough to modify windows to remove those cons, isnt that what linux users do? modify anything to their needs?
