@mkilbride lol flac is an useless codec , only good for ARCHIVING , there's no point in use that for a NON-compressed audio from source (like LPCM). The audio codec nowdays is very efficent is not like an old rusty mp3 (that have alot of problems).
So if you want absolute archiving then download the bd not compressed video rip lewl.
Obviously nitpicking here but FLAC is compressed just like Opus. The difference is lossless vs. lossy compression ;)
And using Opus is perfectly fine. Those who don't mind wasting space on inaudible data already have lots of options out there.
I just would have used a little higher bitrate to get more head room. Opus usually is transparent at 128kbit but apparently there are some corner cases that still need more. So I go with 140 to 160 just to be on the save side.
