Thanks!
No subbers doing Shaman King???
>High profile (other rip): 979 kbps netflix is good at encoding guys xd
"If encoding is sure to result in victory, then you must encode!" Netflix said that, and I'd say they know a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because they invented it! And then they perfected it so that nobody could best him in the ring of honour. Then they used their encode money to buy two of every animal on earth. Then they herded them onto a boat, and then they encoded the crap out of every single one.
> High profile (other rip): 979 kbps Are we back to the good ol' 2010 AnimeTake mini-mkv encode forum thread days?
Netflix aka CRF 50 ultrafast encoded bootleg of a 3 times reuploaded youtube video. Anyway, let's hope some generous fansubbers take on this show rather quickly.
I'm half tempted to just throw the japanese subs into deepL, proofread it, and call it a fansub... Too bad I'm a retard and don't know how to do that. Edit: Actually that might work...
@MarioLuigi0404 Stop
@bankai y tho? It's not like anyone is gonna put fansubs out yet and I wanna watch the damn show lol
@MarioLuigi0404, as an actual translator, take it from me that you will not be able to do it well unless you actually understand Japanese. Instead, you'll just be confusing people with a mediocre translation that might be their first exposure to this series and immediately turn them off. EDIT: Unless you're talking abt doing this for your own personal viewing. Then do whatever.
@Aoyama I'm doing it for myself, don't worry.
@MarioLuigi0404 Here, subs lazily put through DeepL. I did not even read through them so for all I know it could be messed up at some points. Personally I will just be waiting for proper subs. https://www4.zippyshare.com/v/Kq2v9Kek/file.html
How do you get MPL (Main@L4) in NF? :) How did you disable HPL (High@L4)?
depl is better than google translate
Honestly, the machine-translated subtitles @PelvisBass provided aren’t even that bad. Of course, names and other aspects are sometimes poorly translated but the episode isn’t too story-heavy and it’s really easy to understand what’s happening.
I am working on translating it, memesubs and all. First episode should be ready sometime in late May
@PelvisBass LMAO
@PelvisBass can we utilize these in a fansub?
@yanisenpai If you really want to I can't stop you, but you really shouldn't lol
If you're using these, you'd bloody make sure you have a good TLC and editor on-board to clean them up. And if you have those, you're better off simply TLing it yourself.
why are people commenting on this so much?
lol we're having someone fluent go through them, just to get it basic enough for our discord server to be able to get the general gist. Sort of like a closed project fansub.
Posting in potentially ebic bread
How many bad releases is this gonna get before a decent group picks this up, if at all
@valid Because we are old weebs and watched this series as a child and are hyped for a remaster in hq Katekyo next bb
I BELIEVE that subs are not necessary if you have already seen the first chapter of the previous version.
Still no subs… come on man
After the pandemic started all streaming services have lowered their quality; no wonder bit rates are low
I hope to wake up tomorrow with good eng subs
@PelvisBass Someone who actually knows how to make decent fansubs ? @torn Not enough probably.
> After the pandemic started all streaming services have lowered their quality; no wonder bit rates are low Not as if Netflix rips were ever that good, anyway.
