There's something about ep 1's opening sequence (R3) that's not seen again in any other episode - it has a blueish magenta tint, but I can't confirm if ep1 R2 has it. I have not seen that in any other episode. There's also the cel border seen when the scene changes, which as far as I know is present in R2 as well but not 100% sure (fixed in the BR btw). And to be fair, I wouldn't believe R3 would have happened before R2, so would it be safe to say R3 came after (and it's an image) of R2? The only thing I can't explain (bc I haven't seen it) is whether R2 has that blue/magenta tint in Ep 1.
@Juni-Anker R2 I saw very little ... I don’t have them, I just downloaded one episode or another to compare?
This bluish does not occur at all openings / episodes ? https://mega.nz/folder/rAQDyKAC#nimTMLOTg5RkYDzC9PrZXw
The folder has the opening of the R2J and two R3T openings with different shades
""""My theory"""" is that the master was possibly the same, but each region had freedom in the production of the collection, or simply not receive orders how to standardize, or even worse did not give a damn ?
@ Rafa
Thanks for those comparison screenshots. While R3TW looks great in general, the R2JP visually looks even better, and especially this screenshot:

Still hoping Discotek gets their hands on Saint Seiya and releases an SD-BD with R2JP or R3TW video source.
But this screenshot is not worth ?....
The versions of each region are very good ... but I will stay with the R3T? kkkk
I hope that happens, and that Discotek uses at least 2.5gb per ep with audio lpcm ?
If I had to choose, I'd choose the custom Yurasyk R3 version (upscaled). It's like they really knew how to use the source material and maximize its quality without making it look shoddy like the BR release. They look crisp, grain is kept, and the overall frame size (and bitrate) is amazing.
R2J really has the clearest dialogue, it’s not much better but you can perceive.
the opening has the music similar to the Eternal Box track,
you can see it in the waveform comparing it in the adobe audition.
I hadn't seen these comparisons before, and I have to say I prefer the way the R3T DVD looks. The film grain is much more visible, and I don't see any of the combing artifacts that plagued the R2J DVD release.
