When i lost my brother to suicide i would feel like shit anytime i was by myself so i would try and keep myself occupied with games, anime and work so i wouldn't think about it.
Everyone is different but know it does get better and you are not the only one who is going through this, there are help and support forums out there.
Sorry to hear you loss. I have a sister and can't imagine a day without her. Things must be hard for your but we must keep moving.
