Beatrice looses a lot of detail from blasting it with heavy denoising. For an easy glimpse at this, check the bricks on the right side of the screen in #2 where they're easily the worst of all the encodes compared.

Kametsu didn't add grain. It was already there. The problem is Beatrice's heavily extreme denoising killed details that is otherwise there is absolutely all other encodes shown in the comparison. Talking to multiple encoders, including Scyrous, they all had the same findings and this was discussed on BakaBT forum a while ago.
Of course in the end it's all subjective I suppose. But I would always go with the one that retains the grain and detail of the source.
@SSJLuffy It had certain issues and I won't have the time to fix them for a while. Sephirotic is the best available overall release at the moment
@Demes I've purposely nuked them since the [Baws] releases are better for them and used the same video source as my release
