Welcome to part 2 of Dragon Quest The Legend of Hero Abel
New chapter means new theme songs! It now has an opening theme (Mirai o Mezashite) and a new ending theme (Niji no Brand-New Day). Part 2 is rather short. It goes until episode 43 on the TV airing (11 episodes). But since we are using the rebroadcast order on this release, some parts of the episode 33 TV airing was included on the episode 32 on the last release and now episode count is just until episode 42 (10 episodes).
This batch contains Episode 33 to 35 plus another two DVD specials. The First special is the TV Airing of Episode 33, which is initially released by Tenshisubs (https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1211939). Revised some terms on the subtitle to align on the terms I've used on my subs (eg. Blue/Red Ball to Blue/Red Orb, Sword of Gaia to Gaia Blade). Also change some font styles and Karaoke to match for the ongoing release.
The second DVD special is supposed to be included on the Part 1 of the series. This special is mostly a recap episode for episodes 1-4. It was broadcasted after the holidays of 1991 before it shows episode 33.
And this is all for this release. We are now nearing the end of the series. See you again next week!
PS: DVD specials are the 480p DVDrips. Normal episodes are the upscaled one from Nezumi. We will still release a megabatch for the 480p DVDrips.
Btw, the episodes are riddled with bad grammar, missing words and typos, have you tried finding Element7's edits for the episodes 11 to 42 instead?
Example in episode 33, the girl says : "How do you know name?" Instead of : "How do you know my name?".
It was fixed in Element7's subs.

No. I only have it on episodes 39-42 as it was included in the last Nezumi post. If someone can link me with the element7 subs that will do as I can do softsubs of them though it will take long since I need to retype them again on the subtitle files.
BTW I will check some of the grammatical errors on the final release since I only did quick run and edit on the script file on my current release. The final release will be the full batch for all episodes on 480p dvdrip video.
and BTW I already did softsubs for the elemen7 subs on episodes 39-42...

Missing episodes are : 26+ 33 (I prefer the one by Tenshi) + 35 + 37 + 38. (Anyone who has them, please give :( ).
Note that I used the full numbering for the rebroadcast, as in episode 34 is 33 in your numbering, and 43 (final episode) is 42.
Do tell me when you download them so I can delete them.
@Marche Sadly no, too bad because all of their episodes were on Youtube publicly, and I can't seem to find them. They had it on their youtube channel's playlist. Maybe someone can dig them up somewhere

Thanks. If I can't find the missing element7 subs I just check the grammar on my existing release and see if its readable for the final release.
btw the srt files in the mega folder are already by element7? (might gonna check anyways after I download)
btw episode 33 on the special folder are from Tenshi. But then I realized that the video quality is not DVDrip. I'll upload the dvdrip version on the final release

upon checking on episode 33, the subs I used is the same as almost as the element7 subs. Maybe they used the existing ones and edited some grammar issues. Anyways I'll just check the other subs since I am done on typing on the other subs from ep 39 onwards
Yes, the SRT files are by Element7.
Btw, use whatever @zman has, and complete the rest from mine, I don't remember what I used to download those files back then, and I'm not sure if it was the most reliable way.

cool, I think the remaining element7 subs we dont have is episode 26. I think I can take it here. I also already ask help on woodus website if they have it
and yes I also got episode 26. episodes 36-42 will be using Element7 subs + I need to check the terms used also to align all the terms I've used through out the series.
And will gonna upload all the fixed subs on my final batch..

Some of the files might have a few playback issues when played as they are on VLC, but will work completely fine once remuxed with mkvtoolnix. That's just how they are encoded. Again, hope this helps and good luck with your release!

I already have that file before and most of the mp4 files there needs to be repaired since there are header issues on each videos (I think only 5 videos are the usable ones there; most videos are on 2+hrs time duration which is incorrect; on MPC its not playable). I have re-encoded some of them so on the megabatch all videos will be playable on any video player.
