Yeah, this whole thing is a mess. Crunchyroll subs, timed by Judas with raws from Ohys. What a nightmare.
Doesn't matter that there aren't any better sources (according to you, at least), it still sucks ass.
This is not archive worthy, and I think even the uploader knows that, also he is right (according to AniDB at least), there are no other better 720p raws, and it has been the same for the last few seasons of Gintama.
Obviously, if you want a decent release (video-wise), you'd have to look into the 1080p section, both Reinforce* and SOFCJ seem nice. Subs-wise, "good series never get good subs".
*unfiltered, because I watch my animes straight out of the box, with all the aliasing, banding, and ringing god intended.
@Hermandshot There is literally no fansub for this. Every subtitles you'll see will be Crunchyroll translation or modification for it. If you think you can put together a better 720p release, please do so.
I don't know about this particular one and I haven't watched anything gintama but the translation for crunchy has been done by a former fansubber fustuu I believe
and people consider them to be good subs

there's no reason to do fansubs because the official subs for gintama are great
i would love a good 720p encode tho since the show is produced in 720p iirc, besides the 2006 series
tbh i've thought of trying to make a 720p release but i'm not the best at encoding and i don't have access to all the BDMVs anyway
