btw there's some stuff on your google docs thing that are definitely wrong/weird (at least about commie releases since i have first-hand knowledge) but i don't use discord so i can't go there to complain. dunno how much you care though.
You can leave comments on the sheet itself in [edit view](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/1emW2Zsb0gEtEHiub_YHpazvBd4lL4saxCwyPhbtxXYM/edit)
yeah but how would you know it's me? it could be anyone.
anyway there's stuff like this listed for chihayafuru
>Commie BD batches have overhauled timing+TS and minor editing changes from MK's release.
which couldn't be more wrong. i also edited it very heavily and changed the poem translations quite a bit too so there's no consistency with the old releases. the old subs were pretty bad, especially for season 1 since it aired before motion-tracking was even a thing. i would say MK should only be recommended for the dub, but the dub is very weird and i don't even know if the sub track for the dub was done right.
as for DIVE!!, SCY-Kuromii's releases uses outdated subs from the TV release, so commie should probably be listed as an alternative.
for haikyuu, some of the releases for season 2 and 3 use TV subs as well even though my BD release has tons of improvements. for instance for season 3 i fixed quite a lot of TL errors by referencing sentai's BD subs since they did their own translation but it wasn't released until a few years later.
sk8 is out of date, though maybe you just haven't updated it yet. the BD release is dual audio too so no need to list lostyears anymore.
for the great passage, it says this
>WBDP uses Beatrice+Commie. Commie has specials and previews spliced in.
but that doesn't really describe it. yes, i had to splice them in because they were separate files on the disc, but i did that to match the TV broadcast. they're supposed to be there.
for Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond, APTA's subs were pretty bad in terms of fansubbing (since they're scanlators and have no idea what they're doing) and also contained some TL errors (which you can read in the comment section on their uploads), so i'm not sure it's wise to recommend a release that partially used their subs just for better video. or at least commie should be recommended as an alternative.
for tokyo godfathers, it's not obvious from the screenshot comparison but the new US BD release stabilized the video, which is a pretty big improvement as even "static" signs had to be motion tracked in subs for the old BD. it might have a less grain, but i still think it's better overall (and imo has more correct-looking colors). that's not really about any release in particular though.
i could nitpick some other stuff, like the numerous dual audio releases that are recommended even though the signs weren't edited to match the dub track at all since most of the people making them have no idea how to fansub, but i guess dub watchers don't deserve good releases anyway :\^)
