@Reza27 That's very nice. Hopefully it'll be better than Vladrakko or CoalGirls encodes since those currently look best imo. Do you plan on doing all 8 movies as well as Mirai Fukin?

@vikrant9760 I will be doing all the movies and likely release as I finish them. the first movie probably about 80% done and I should be able to reuse most of the script

the problem is the BDs don't really look better than the DVDs. i mean they do of course in some ways, but they also have the usual QTEC "filtering" which looks worse.

I would have remembered if that was the case. Though I do agree BDs look shit due to the horrible upsale algorithm. Its not completely unsalvageable though. Though I do agree qTec is shit and should not exist. They still do stupid fuckery. They were responsible for the upscaling and HDR conversion of the 4K BD for Violet Evergarden Movie. https://www.eizoglobal.com/solutions/casestudies/creative-work/qtec-kyoto-animation/index.html >The HDR color grading and upconversion for the Dolby Cinema release of this movie were handled by Q-TEC, and the ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG3146 was used for simulation grading and director checks.
