have you ever even watched the dub? ignoring the obvious stuff like how the poem translations won't match even slightly to mine for all the signs, the reading of the poems when they're playing karuta is left in japanese and the dub has subs for those lines. the dub is literally unwatchable if you don't put in any effort. why even include it?
no, i don't watch dub, neither do i care about the dub experience. i just left the poem translations as they were in your subs. having slightly mismatched signs is less of an inconvenience compared to not having dub at all if someone wants to watch it, which i think most dub watchers are already used to since most dual audio releases don't have different signs for the dub. if someone wants to make a better release which takes care of all those differences i'll just delete this one.
again, it's not just that the signs will be mismatched. it's that they left japanese audio in the dub that needs to be subtitled. and those subtitles have to match what the dub says or it'll be impossible to follow. i don't know why you're having so much trouble understanding this.
