# New V2: This torrent has some issues i discovered, DBS has episodes that weren't fully done encoding, movies DB and DBZ all have no subtitles, and as people have pointed out, there is no padding on the episode filenames. For a good x265 encode of the DB & DBZ movies, check out these torrents: DB: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1358971 DBZ: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1358868 --- ## Naming: Capitals indicate the full name (eg: DB=dragonball), small letters indicate a type of release (eg: sp=special, l=levelsets, m=movies, ova=original video animation), extra letters are rare but the "p" can stand for "part" --- ## Extras: There are no extras like openings, endings, etc in this release since they're so small/short compared to the episodes, that encoding them is like zipping a text file. refer to the sources if you would like to download them anyway. --- ## Screenshots I couldn't find a good uncompressed image uploading site so the screenshots are in the screenshot directory, you can torrent just those if you wanna look at them. Here's how i took the screenshots: `ffmpeg -ss 00:05:00 -i *.mkv -c:v png -frames:v 1 *.png` --- ## Encoding: I used the same encoding parameters for every video file except for: DBS, this anime is much newer and thus has much less detail to preserve. DBZls, this release has much better grain and thus has more detail to preserve. DBZova1(2010), DBZova3, same reason as DBS. logs for every single episode are in the ./logs directory. I drew my encoding parameters from all the info i gathered. If anyone has improvements, leave them in the comments and I'll do a full re-encode if enough people agree. I know this is a re-encode (x264 release) of an encode (bdmv) and I understand the quality loss in that, I just don't have the time to encode straight from the bdmv like iKaos and KaiDubs do. Again, if enough people agree and I get a little bit of help with the bdmv's, I'll encode straight from the bdmv's. --- ## Audio/Subs/Chapter tracks: Refer to the sources listed above for mediainfo, everything other than the video is passed through. --- ## Why? I saw some people asking for a x265 encode and I wanted to be able to store every dragon ball episode on a drive that's one terabyte. --- ## Power If anyone in the DB community wants to do hefty encodes, I can help with processing power. I encoded this entire release in 7 days or so.
