I am working on something now that is a bit annoying so it will take a while, and I've been testing other things in between. I really, really don't like opus and how it still makes everything sound dark, empty and gloomy, but with how everyone scream and moan about it I've been considering bringing it back. It would for sure be higher bitrate than 128kbps though. (Also remember, compatibility is not a concern for me). Another thing is, for big series with dual audio, should I keep the english track in the main file or move it to an mka file so people who don't want it can just not download it? it is easy to play audio files from another directory with mpv so I am leaning towards the second option. And for the last, are you guys happy with my Kodomo no Jikan encode? I still have the source and I've been thinking if I should revisit that one. I'm particularly unhappy with the opus audio, in case of a v2 I would passthrough the AC3 audio and deal with the video in a better way than I did in the past... --- ### Some Words ### Another one of my random encodes, had this downloaded for a while already and finally stopped being lazy with it. Also, this is somewhat of an experimental encode since I'm not used to av1-lavish. A lot of tests were done and I got a lot of suggestions as well, so I am quite confident in it still. The files are kinda big, but that was thanks to the two AC3 audio tracks. I thought about not including the ENG track, but didn't liked the idea, then decided to include it as a set of .mka files on the Extra folder, but didn't liked the idea as well since it would make playback complicated for whoever wants the ENG audio, so I just bit the bullet and added it to the main files. Hopefully it won't be a big issue considering it's just 3 episodes. As usual I got pretty much everything I could out of the disc, there were a few things that were buried on "secret menus" on the disc, and even something that I could not find a way to access from the disc menus at all! That is the TVCM, which I'm not even sure if it really is the CM for this show, but it does look like it so I named it accordingly. If you have the discs, try touching Delmo's bunny ears on the main menu screen, or Jenny's whip on the Credits screen for example. --- Once again, as usual, my releases are meant to be watched using mpv, preferably on a PC. It probably works on other players as well but that is beyond me. I'm always open to suggestions on what to encode next, particularly of older media such as DVDs and LDs, controversial media such as the stuff I'm looking for and any loli content! If I can find a source or someone provides it to me, I can encode! As someone who works alone (not in any team or group) and is not into any closed circles, it is hard to find things sometimes. If you have something I'm looking for and is willing to share or would like to be encoded but don't know how to do it yourself or just don't want to bother with it, you can talk to me via IRC and I can do it for you!
