In addition to haloing caused by sharpening, some scenes also exhibit ringing around the lines due to material scaling. This ringing often has a wide spread, with varying intensity. In certain scenes, it is evident that as the camera pulls back and the material is scaled down, the ringing becomes progressively wider and stronger. The flat areas are of good quality, with no noticeable artifacts. We applied standard anti-aliasing and higher-intensity de-ringing on the lines, followed by compensatory sharpening to enhance the visual experience.
