These encodes have been floating around the internet for years, although never all together in one place for download until someone uploaded them to Web Archive.
This is from a rerun in 2005-2006 when Animax Japan was still using its first logo version before changing to the characteristic two-tone blue and white that most foreigners know.
The most interesting thing about this is the footage that was used in those years before being replaced with other footage (a Dragon Box prototype but with NEPs in their original position before the ED, high quality audio, video with dirt and the same awful colors) from the 2010s, master videos that not only Animax received, but also BS Fuji and Tokyo MX who were already broadcasting in HD.
Something else worth noting about this footage is that they did not tone down the scenes that use the pakapaka technique, a move from studios and producers that is carried out on all anime produced before 1997 as a consequence of the Pokémon Shock. When they replaced the previous DBGT footage with the current one, the flashing and high-speed scenes were toned down.
If you have downloaded Transport Streams of DBGT aired by Animax in the 2010s, you will notice the differences in the video (arguably the same generation footage as Dragon Ball Z), but not in the audio which remains the same in both cases.
