![](https://i.imgur.com/g5oo8TS.png) Ripped and encoded by WOWmd from his own VHS tape Translated by Perevodildo Edited by Paul Geromini and darkcart The circumstances force the main character, the soft-spoken Kondo, into the role of a yakuza syndicate boss. Will he succeed to conquer his cute co-worker's heart 150 chapters later? Read the original manga to find out. Or not. There was one TL note I wanted to add, but I forgot, and now I can't remember what it was. It's incredible to me that this manga, extremely influential in Japan, received only one anime adaptation, and even that is very rare, I'm not even sure it made it to LD. The source manga was coming out for 25 years straight and then returned with a sequel which is still ongoing! It was also officially licensed in Taiwan. I struggle to understand the reasons for its success. The premise and the designs do look interesting, but after reading through the first volume for the purposes of this translation, I really can't call it something I'd read in my free time, even less so for 25 years / 108 volumes in a row. By the way, this OVA covers, with many omissions, the first volume of the original manga. TL;DR: I'd recommend Sholokhov's "Quiet Don" over this. Thanks, I'm gonna enjoy this one! It's a pity there's so little yakuza anime compared to other genres

Thank god there's so little yakuza anime compared to other genres. But I wish there was even less, because I'm fucking tired of doing yakuza shows.
