Rest assured that this video will look perfectly fine even when watched closely on a large screen. CRF 18 avoids pointlessly bloating bitrate for virtually no gain, so you get a great balance of quality and size. [Audio quality] This encode uses lossy aac encoding at 320 K-Bits for stereo and 640 K-Bits for Surround audio that’s virtually transparent (sounding the same as the original source) at a small filesize with some slight artefacts. If you are in the 2% of watchers concerned about AAC artifacts, look at our larger release: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/964119 If there are any issues please comment below with good pointers where something goes wrong. Hate to keep asking this, but about the non-localized subs...? CBM seems to be popular, but 4gigs is a hell of a lot for my internet speed just to find out. Could you please verify?

Thanks again Nep_Blanc! Great work.
@Nep_Blanc I have a question for ya. Do you recommend this one or that one: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/964119 ? I dont have a fast internet but I can download overnight. I'd like the best experience while watching (well re-watching) this movie

For the Best quality FLAC audio is better AAC is not as great but it's great quality too but I prefer FLAC. I only make the AAC releases for storage concerned people, I am a storage concerned encoder too but I am a audiophile too so I do not like the Compressed Feel AAC gives.
Thank you, Nep_Blanc! I see the names are in Japanese order, too. (Kayaba Akihiko). I really appreciate it. I probably seem like a wacko over it, but I just cannot stand localized versions. Must be nice to not care. Localized subs are way too common! Little respect is given to us who prefer an actual Japanese feel in the subtitles.
9 subs in the file and they're nearly all bad. The first one has several phrases of engrish, or very badly translated to semi-english with bad grammar, vocabulary and phrase construction. Some very blatant gramma errors like "She try to..." and it gets much much worse. Bonkai's has overlapping sub that appear a tenth of a second then skips the next phrase which isn't subbed or has timing issues and thus doesn't show.. There's an untranslated moment lasting about 4-6sec. The Mites and the META (4 subs) are all missing some phrases, there's that part where Yuuna Shigemura is mentioned over a smartphone. What the guys says during that moment is not translated or doesn't appear, Yuuna remains on screen for 8-10sec instead. The CBM had a small issue too, but can't remember what and when and don't want to re-watch the whole movie to find out. I didn't use the BDMV subs for all the movie, but I've tested it on the different parts that caused issues with other subs and that was the only one working fine (sub 8...). Problem is, it's the pgs one and the translation effort is far less precise as what fansubbing can reach... So yea, video quality might me great, but bloating the file with crap subs isn't the way! Pity that in the end, you have to select the default BD sub to have the best experience...
Tester here, I rechecked audio streams for this anime, it is syncing correctly with the video, and/or any dubbing in this encode should be synced correctly with the video as well.
