720p Direct rip. No re-encoding. Terrible bitrate is source's fault and there was nothing I could do about it. If a decent raw comes out hopefully I or somebody else can retype the subs for it.

Is birate bad enough to ruin it similar to how the original rips of K were cause the source sucked?

@Nightwizard Bitrate isn't unwatchable, but it is a bit rough for a CGI show.
I think those who text save the subtitle in the thing or mkv there are no subtitles?

User
@mosquito Not exactly sure what you're trying to ask, but the subtitles are in English and hardcoded into the video.

is this show any good?

@DestinoAzell So far so good. The premise isn't that original but the action is well done and the plot is developing pretty well without showing its whole hand yet. Even if you've never watched the old shows these characters are crossing over from the plot doesn't rely on you knowing them at all so you can jump right in. CGI prioritizes smooth animation over high fidelity, making it look a lot like the cut scene animations in video games, which is a smart move if they didn't have the budget for higher quality work. Overall, I say it's a promising new show.
So far I'm rather surprised by the quality of this. I expected some hastily-thrown together piece of shit as a quick cash-grab on the Tetsunoko anniversary, but it's actually pretty well done. The implementation of the characters from different IPs is pretty convincing, and the animation clearly has a decent budget for a CGI series. That said, the subtitle work is...not bad, particularly, but *really* inaccurate. When a character says "He's a horrible man" the English translation is "I hate him". What the fuck is that? Is this the sub that was included with the release, or was this fansubbed? Thanks, regardless.

@fozzibab This is the official simulcast translation. I didn't notice it the first watch through, but the second time through I could definitely tell they were taking some strange liberties with the translation. Not sure what lead to that. It doesn't strictly feel like a lazy translation, but it's definitely odd.
@japzone do you have any e-mail which I could use to contact you in private?
