@SOFCJ Просто не люблю вертикальные черные полосы :) Ну и, поскольку ноутбук, на котором я впервые смотрел Наруто, давно почил — а у него как раз была диагональ с соотношением 4:3 — то приходится выбирать: либо черные полосы, либо обрезать картинку. (Вариант «растянуть» не рассматриваю xD) Раньше вопрос не стоял, т.к. если масштабировать DVDRip, то будет мыло, а не качество :) А тут картинка порадовала, выглядит неплохо.

@Jwigou I have no news that they are going to broadcast the first episodes of Naruto Shippuuen in 16: 9. I'm not going to remove the watermark because it looks worse, I also like the logo.

They have just cut out the top and bottom and released the older version of Naruto series. In reality, you just miss out on some of the scenes because of the cropping.

the cropping is terrible. why couldn't they have left it 4;3. i'm hating this HD remaster already. they cropped so much out of the image to make it 16;9

I honestly after watching the first 6 episodes don't like the 16:9 crop. i did my own 1080p upscale but left it its original 4:3 and so much information is lost on the cropping. don't get me wrong for the wide shots its OK especially those forest scenes where most of the background is forest you're not losing much. but the closeups and urban scenes the cropping is distracting. and for me personally i dont like the half of the forehead cut off lol.

Why lossy audio? Also, this is cropped sadly. It looks the best, but you lose stuff from the crop.
