Notes:
The Geneon DVD release has excellent quality for an older anime. Zero screen shake, practically zero noise, clear
gradients and very little compression artifacts, so there was no reason to destroy any detail with denoising filters.
The source quality also meant it compressed really well, visible quality pretty much maxed out at Q19 with less
than 120MB average file sizes (+ 20MB for audio).
One problem the source however did have was a serious dotcrawl issue. Using two different filters fixed most of it in
static situations, but there's still some left in scenes with movement. Not much could be done about that without
introducing worse side effects, antialising was the only reasonable choice which reduced it somewhat. It shouldn't be
too distracting now unless you specifically look for it.
Subtitles: The DVD subtitles were mostly fine out of the box, just did the usual - added romaji lyrics, positioned
signs, adjusted some timings and did some small edits/corrections here and there.
Enjoy. And if you like it enough to add to your DVD collection, please get this R1 Geneon release even if you live in
Europe. The MVM UK (PAL) release was completely ruined in the conversion process and is practically useless.

PS. You shouldn't watch the "00" spoiler episode before finishing the entire series.
